Circus Time!

Harrison and I went to the circus when it was in town! We missed our Daddy being there with us, but we had fun with my great friend Heather and her little man Austan. As you can see Harrison really is the KING of our house!

Fun in Dallas/Ft.Worth

So since I am a new Blogger, the first few things that i am posting, are things that we have already done this summer in the months of June and July. They are kind of out of order, but we really wanted to be able to share a few pics from the trips we have taken.

We have enjoyed several small trips and we are looking forward to a week in Pt. Aransas in August. Here are some pics of a quick trip we took to the Dallas/Ft.Worth area. We were busy that weekend. Our weekend started on Friday, we went to Bass Pro Shop and the Rainforest Cafe, Saturday we went to the Ft. Worth Zoo and then had an awesome dinner at the Magic Time Machine! If you have never been there we totally recommend it! There are two here in Texas one in Dallas and the other in San Antonio.

Our GREAT friends Jennifer and Jacob and their SUPER CUTE little girl Jordyn (she is one of Harrison's future wives... i say one of, because he has so many cute little girls in his life! HA HA HA)

We had such a great time, and we think that the pictures prove it!

Sweet Baby Ethan Visit

Sweet Baby Ethan was born in May to one of my best friends Chrissey Bruggeman and her husband Arthur. Chrissey came back to Texas to have Ethan while her husband is overseas fighting for our freedom. I was so greatful to be able to go to Houston when Ethan was born. Chrissey was such a strong woman, she endured labor all by herself while hubby Art was on the video phone/cell phone the whole time! Chrissey is heading back to North Carolina this week and she made a trip up to Waco from Houston before doing so and I was able to get some good lovin on this little bundle of joy! He is so cute! I can't believe that the next time we see him, he will be Harrisons age probably...so sad, but thankfully via the computer we can watch him grow! Miss them already....

Modeling Debut

Recently Harrison was used as a "CASA Child" for a publication for the Waco Foundation's News Letter. For those of you who do not know what CASA is; CASA stand for COURT APPOINTED SPECIAL ADVOCATE. This means that the CASA worker is the voice of the child while the child is in foster care or in the care of CPS Custody. In this picture he is with Judge Allen Mayfield and our Volunteer Coordinator at work who was posing as the "CASA Worker". Harrison did really well and the article turned out great.
